The paper "The Implication of Robotic" is an outstanding example of an information technology capstone project. Robotics is an area of high expectation and diverse directions; provided it’s the source of attraction for the public, scientists and users. Robots' versatility has increased as a result of their continuous ability to process information. The final goal rests on the development of autonomous robots. Nevertheless, as an advancement in robotics usage widens, and more robots coming from factory halls, challenges arises given the changes in paradigm takes shape.

1.0 Introduction

It is anticipated that a robot should be an intelligent tool, tasked with becoming a human partner as opposed to being a competitor in performing tasks. An existing relation with biological systems has been made through the emotions, emanating from the biological context; used in the description of technical properties and characteristics. For instance, the term intelligent is employed in the description of advanced robot behaviour, as well as, a marketing term.

It is evident that robotics propels high expectations of the future potential of the robotics application – whilst euphoric that seem unrealistic. Contrariwise, other views suggest the robots will be the most powerful technologies in recent technological advancement, in line with Nanotech and engineering - threatening the very existence of humans (Bajcsy 2014). As such, this retrospect paper seeks to analyse the present and future state of robotics and looking at the various developments, limitations and possible recommendations in three key aspects, with relations to System Information Management. These are Government, individuals and organisational platform.

2.0 Robots and Individuals

Robots have a compounding effect on the lives of individuals across multiple platforms. The 21st century has seen the rapid combination of human functions to robots' assistance. This has resulted in various critics of its implementations. However, robots present various benefits to humans.
