Understanding the causes for these differing patterns would be beneficial to, both the communities by making them capable of appreciating each other's work meaningfully. 2.British theatre have benefited greatly from the American theatre by incorporating its acting techniques. But British theatre gives more emphasis to stage technique than acting technique in which field its contribution to the American theatre is noteworthy. So there is a give and take between the art performances of these regions through the ages.

Now Asia due to its vastness and diverse cultures has a chest of 'knowledge wealth', which can be beneficial to other communities. Have the religion, and the social structure of England benefited from Asian Performance Or do they feel that this type of work is blasphemous 4.The notion that 'acting comes natural' is fading. There are many methods and techniques of acting, which has evolved world over. The western acting techniques are well documented and the teaching procedures nicely organized where as about Indian acting techniques, whose history of theatre can be easily traced back to 200BC nothing much is known to the outside world.

In this light what are the acting techniques that are exclusively Indian Do Pakistan, which have a common past with India till half a century ago developed its own acting techniques since then What are the acting techniques in which the Pakistani, Indian and British performers trained (i) Are the techniques relatively the same (ii) Which technique is more successful and why (iii) What style of acting is more of a learning toolSome idea of the methods you think you may employ in your research and of the kinds of data you will requireI can start by gaining valuable knowledge by studying as much literature available on the subject matter as possible.
