Personal interview with a friend This is an interview with my friend Fred. The interview aims at getting to know him deeply; his desires, ambitions, love, targets in life and many other issues regarding daily activities. The interview takes place at school just in between classes. I selected my friend, Fred because I have always found him unique since he tackles challenges in life with exceptional regards to meticulous approach (Lordan, 46).Me: Hi Fred?My friend: Hi John.Me: how was your night?

My friend: awesome.me: and yours? My friend: fine.Me: I have been thinking of our course? My friend: what about it?Me: what do you plan to do with it after finishing undergraduate? My friend: I plan to come back for master level.Me: what mentors you about public relations? My friend: I like how the job models an individual to accept the society around him or her.Me: what are your hobbies or your leisure time activity? My friend: playing rugby, meeting friends and watching movies.Me: if you were not doing public relations what would you be doing?

My friend: sales and marketing?Me: why?My friend: my passion has always been to interact with people and believe that sales and marketing give me such an excellent opportunity.Me: how did you develop the power to face crowds and manage them while talking to them?My friend: I have held similar tasks in the church. Leadership has been my day-to-day activity in the church. My childhood was painted by daily duties regarding managing my fellow children in the church. The exposure taught me to hold tough and challenging times.

At some points, there has been criticism but bravery and transparency was always the tool for moving forward.Me: what do you do with intense criticism? My friend: I stand by the truth. Most people would like to see you moved or cowed by the threats, but that is always not my case. At last, truth sets me free, and the liars are finally shamed.Me: what changes would you do were to be young again? My friend: In life I have never regretted. I think I would follow the same track I have taken?Me: what are the greatest and memorable times in your life?

My friend: my greatest moments were when finished first in our interschool a hundred meters race.Me: Congrats Fred! That must have been a happy moment. My friend: thanks, friend. This interview research assignment provided excellent lessons to me on public relations. From this interview, I learned the essence of asking questions. Most people in the society assume or pretend to know issues even without asking. It also taught me the significance of applying direct questions and single questions at a time to facilitate ample and elaborate answers.

People always have different views. This applies even to friends who are close to us in the daily life (Lordan, 46). It highly improved my listening skills. I would use the skills in future since they are very applicable to daily life activities and at work.Work citedLordan, Edward J. Essentials of Public Relations Management. Chicago: Burnham, 2003.
