Analysis Affiliation 2. Information technology plays an integral part in every human’s life as it touches onalmost every sphere of life. The hospitals, hotels, transport and almost every other area of life applies technology in various ways. Even more interesting is that the application of information technology happens on a daily basis, as this paper will show. In this research, it was established that a whopping 77% of the respondents used the technology daily. One of the ways people use technology includes the use of mobile phones, which was found to be the most popular gadget. In light of the above, a study was carried out to propagate the future of the Information technology. It was noted that men have a higher understanding of the outlook of information technology than women do. In the study, 83% of the respondents who were men had something to talk about the future while only 17% cared about the future. However, when placed as per age and occupation, it was noted that a majority of students explored about the future of information technology. The second group that showed an interest on the same were the employees. It is therefore important to conduct a research about the future of information technology as it was found to have a great impact in many areas of life. For instance, this paper established that education was major reason people used the information technology with a 34.2% population using it for education-related purposes. Another 27.1% used in their work or business related activities which vital in their lives. A 12.8% population felt the information technology was important as it helped them in entertainment matters. People using the information technology for social networking reasons were 20% while another group using the technology for other purposes was 5% 4. Introduction:- 4.1 background Information technology, like other things in human’s life, has evolved since its inception, and it is vitally important to analyze its likely outlook. At first, the information technology was never thought to cause a great impact in humans’ life. However, as it evolved it became apparent that it could be used in countless ways to benefit the humans in their daily activities. Today, business-owners use the technology in making sales to customers from other countries. As a result, the cost of doing business has dropped significantly, thus increasing profit margins for many business entities. Similarly, the offering of essential services by governments has become an easier task than was the case earlier. For instance, the healthcare has ample benefits courtesy of technology. The education sector is an additional arena that technology has influenced in an amazing way. Students need not buy all the learning materials, as was the case some years back; instead, by a click of a button, learning materials can easily be accessed online. Overall, the information technology is important in every sphere of humans, and it is for this reason this paper intends to highlight the findings daily usage and future projections. Clearly, the information technology is important to every human being, thus the need to focus on its future, as it seems it will influence the living styles and buying decisions by humans. In this research paper, a study carried out showed some interesting facts about the technology. First, women do use the technology daily, but are hardly interested in its future. In contrast, men show great enthusiasm in the future of technology. In this paper, these statistics have been highlighted using diagrams. At the end, the paper offers recommendations, which are vital for the betterment of information technology. 8. Finding conclusion It is clear that technology is a backbone to many of the activities people undertake daily. A number of vita services including health-related services could be affected adversely if there is a failure on the information technology. The communication done through the mobile phones and others listed above would be no more if the work of technology is interrupted. That would result in the crippling of major and essential services that a majority of people relies on for their lives. However, it is amazing that not many people have all the information about the information technology especially about its future. Interestingly, it is not just the adults who experience the benefits of the technology as evidenced by the number of people holding the view young people benefit from it too. In addition, the fact that a majority of people responded that they update themselves on technology on a daily basis, means that it is a phenomenon that is essential to humans. Then there is the issue of technology advancing at a high rate, and this calls for close attention of the same. While technology plays a vital role in the lives of humans, it has some cons, which require further scrutiny and improvement. First, there is the issue of health-related concerns whereby sitting, for instance, for a long time is detrimental to one’s health. As noted in the paper, many people though the technology threatens humans’ health. That means in the future these results could have negative effects, hence the need to address the future of technology today. The rapid growth of the technology is another area of concern because there could be saturation especially in social networking media. Earlier, only Facebook was known to exist. However, the recent emergence of new entrants such as Twitter, Instagram, Myspace and others mean the industry could have more than it can absorb. 9. Conclusions In conclusion, there is no debating about the role technology plays in the lives of people especially in the 21st century. With life pressures increasing as a result of cost living, technology has eased many things. Unlike in the past when one had to spend considerable amount of money selling items to customers very far away, technology has made it easy for business people to interact freely with their clients. Similarly, the delivery of services is pretty fast, and clearly this has positively changed the lives of almost every human. Contrary to the popular thinking that the benefits of technology are limited to the adults, this paper has showed that many people believe young people benefit as well. The future of technology seems positive with over 49% of the respondents indicating they frequently updated themselves on a daily basis. The people who do it weekly were 31%, monthly 17% while only 3% did so annually. The figures show that people are conscious of technology and the need to remain updated. Also, over 68% of people believed that technology has made their everyday work easier, and this shows people are keen on the impact technology has on their lives. Notwithstanding these positive outcomes of the technology, the future could be negative unless there is an understanding of the current limitations. First, the technology poses a threat to overreliance of the machines meaning their failure could be disastrous to humans. Secondly, the health-related concerns especially sitting down for a long time could affect many people. This is especially the case because many people use these gadgets on a daily basis meaning their involvement is significant. 10. Recommendation In order to ensure the technology does not negatively affect the humans in the future, a number of recommendations are proved here. Application of these steps could play an important role in mitigating these effects. First, to avoid saturation, there is need to limit the existence of many firms. As noted, the technology is advancing at an alarmingly high rate, and this will not always be positive for humans. In any market, when there is too much supply, which does not reciprocate the demand, it becomes impossible to benefit people. Thus, the technology ought to evolve, but the rate is too rapid. Often, this leaves many people unfulfilled because before they enjoy one product, another has been released. This trend could have even financial implications for many people. Secondly, measures to curb some of the negative effects ought to be developed by the same people or firms inventing the machines. A case in point, the use of computers for a long time causes eye problems besides the backache pain. Sadly, there has been no firm coming with solutions to such problems. Instead of focusing solely on financial gains, the technology ought to advance and come with measures to limit the negative effects that often accompany it. Availing a gadget, which has benefits but still poses a health risk to the user will not have very positive long-lasting effects. It is therefore important to rethink how the technology is negatively affecting people, not just the positive way. Finally, there is a need to keep educating people about the expected outlook of the technology. As noted, not many people concern themselves with speculating or understanding how technology will look like in the future. Read More
