Guest (2011) gives a simple definition of human resource management as the process of hiring and developing employees to make them valuable to the organisation. Thus, human resource management involves such functions as job analyses, planning, recruitment, provision of benefits and incentives, performance evaluation, communication among other functions (Price, 2011). Briefly, human resource management concerns effective management of the workforce to meet the strategic goals and objectives of an organisation.

On the other hand, employee training entails educating employees for a particular job and as such is required to help employees acclimatize with the modern techniques, materials, tools, as well as strategies for performing their jobs (Cheung and Chan, 2012). Nonetheless, employee motivation entails providing work conditions that satisfy the employee's needs and as such encourages them to work towards achieving the mission and goals of the organisation (Fernandez and Pitts, 2011).

On the other hand, effective human resource management has enabled the company to develop individual expertise that helps the clients to maximise their returns on investment and minimise possible costs while at the same time fulfilling both currents as well as future trends in the commercial real estate sector. ...Download file to see next pages Read More
