Running Head: Global Business & Culture Global Business & Culture [Institute’s Global Business & Culture Amongst the fundamental necessities that an individual requires to survive, food is one of it that an individual cannot evade. On the other hand, the development of the business culture into a dynamic and vastly competitive market is experiencing a boom due to the globalization, which provides a platform to the businesses to run over a global market. Where the food commodities provides with such a diverse variety to consume, every raw food and the finished product from it have its own set of nutrition that a person’s body requires.

Chicken is one of the favorite items that anybody would like to have and can be made in several different forms. Perdue chicken is a poultry chicken, and is a one of the finest, exceptional, fresh, and leading brand chicken that comes under farming in the some regions of United States. Perdue chicken is available in various forms that include uncooked form such as frozen pieces of chicken or in form of wings etc and cooked forms as well (Daft, 2009). On the other hand when talk about UK culture; it is very diverse in the aspect of food.

The history of UK reveals the fact that the inhabitants of UK in general had the eating habits constrained and classified to herbs, vegetables and seafood that embrace leafy and beans species of vegetable, fish and many more, and they had a strong point in agriculture and cultivation. Although classic, homely, healthy and nutritious were the highlighting features of the conventional food and meals of UK; yet, they had been under influence from a few diverse and distinct traditions and adopted their flavors (Ashley, 2004).

The recent trends have shown a substantial variation in the UK cuisine from the traditional one, despite of the fact that the food items dominated by beef, chicken, pork, or fish with a sideline of some vegetables have continued to be the favorite, admired, and prevailing conventional cuisine for British people. The use of healthy vegetables in food has risen amongst the British inhabitants and the eating of starchy vegetables and meat has declined (Else, 2009). With the cultural background and the traditional cuisine, structure proves that if the Perdue chicken gets into the UK market, it can make either a positive and gaining business or a loss.

Looking at the positive aspect, it would not find difficulty in relation to the cultural context as the drift showed that British people and culture have the flexibility to adapt to changes. As roast meat is one of the traditional meals of British populace, therefore, the Perdue chicken can bring a positive impact, as it will provide with more options and varieties to consume a chicken. While looking at the other end of the spectrum, it can also bring a negative impact on the business of the Perdue chicken as the prevailing trend demonstrate the fact that British people are more interested in consuming fresh and properly cooked food, whereas the forms of Perdue chicken is either in frozen form or ready-to-cook form.

Therefore, this might not be an appealing option for the populace of the UK, as the frozen foods come under storage for a longer time span, and gives no surety about the freshness of the eatables. Coupled to it, British people cook their meals especially those based on meat items for several hours and ready-to-cook form of chicken may not give them satisfaction in cooking and eating.
